As we resume school this morning I felt like it was a good time to make sure my attitude is good. I feel like I've not been always doing my job to "grow" my attitude or my girls' attitudes in a manner of God. I was reminded in my devotions that we are here on earth for a short time while God beautifies our souls to make us ready for His place in heaven.
It is so easy to be tempted into ugliness and crabbiness. How can the world see God's light through me if I am in this mood?
How can my girls grow to be great women of God if I am unable to be a good role model for them?
This is a question for many Christian parents as they struggle through the parenting process. Being a parent is difficult, yet rewarding. It is definately true how much I need God to help me each day!
Good luck today as you hear God's lesson for you and strive to prepare yourself for Him!
While God is preparing a place for us,
He is preparing us for that place.

I know how difficult it is to have sisters so far away! I'm glad that Becky and Amy were able to be here for a nice long visit! It was fun to spend some time with you all!
Thanks for the good reminder about the attitudes that we project! We are representing God to others, so it spurs me on to remember that I need to make sure that my attitude always reflects Christ!

Hi! I miss you all tons! It has been hard getting back to reality. This week has been really busy too, so I am looking forward to some relaxation time this weekend. Your girls are just so precious, and Isaac is still talking about them. He misses all of you too! Liana is doing really well, she adjusted to our routine at home and things are back on track.
