Testing week

I find that I have a few minutes of time to just sit and wait this morning.

We are testing this week for school, so right now I am waiting out a 40 minute time ( hopefully as quiet as can be) for Valerie to complete her Reading Comprehension part.

Elizabeth & Olivia are REALLY enjoying this time of testing - I have them up on my bed watching Sesame Street. We don't normally watch anything during the daytime hours so this is a huge treat for them! It is cute! They are trying so hard to be quiet as they talk and giggle their way through the show. Fortunately, you can't hear them down in our school area where Valerie is working very hard.

We had a nice weekend and spent a lot of time outside. Craig finished putting up some gutters on our home. It was the perfect time to try them out since it rained both Friday & Saturday night!

We are trying to get Elizabeth more comfortable on her bike. She graduated up to Valerie's old bike, but the training wheels are tricky! She relies on them too much, like a crutch, yet she is unable to ride without them yet. Once her legs strengthen more she will do better! We are excited to go biking this summer more now that she is older.

Well, I suppose I should get some more "quiet" things done while I wait.

Have a great day!

Hello Brother,

Yes, and yes.

We love Racko, and the scotcheroos were as wonderful as always!!! :)
They make good tea party snacks!

The next time you are up - I challenge you to a game! My friend Jean plays with Valerie & me every so often.

I rememember testing days! I was always so nervous that the time would run out before I finished!

The first time I rode a bike, it was without training wheels, and I hit a tree (just the bike made impact)! So I guess it is better to take your time and make sure that you have it right! =)

Have a great week!

Blake had an idea on the training wheels. You could take one off and only use one. That way, she would still have it, but wouldnt and couldn't be dependant on it...
