Girls: But Mom! They smell so yummy, smell one!
OR
Me: Please don't fly off the edge of the couch, Elizabeth
(it seems like I say this alot)
Elizabeth: But Mom, that is the only way I can fly.
(What I am sure she is thinking EVERY time is "duh, I keep telling you this")
I was pondering over my busy day and laughed as I remembered these conversations earlier with Valerie & Elizabeth.
Apparently, we bought scented dry erase markers this year AND we need to continue to work on our NON-flying-from-the-furniture-because-we-are-human-and-it-will-break-a-bone-someday skills.
I laugh at all the new "to-be" Mothers & Fathers who can't visualize all these wonderful conversations as a parent - YES - my own sister laughs HARD at the silly things that come up and just enjoys the fact that she can watch from afar.
Becky, it will come to you too!! I love you ... and can't wait until it's MY turn to laugh at your little one's sayings! :)
Fortunately, I really enjoy my children!! I don't find that there are too many dangerous things that I have to warn them against. They seem to be pretty smart, which my Dad will claim came completely from his genes. Thanks Dad!

You DO have the sweetest girls, Jessica! I love them and have to say again that you are a great Mom — thanks for your example to us beginners. :) Love you!
You are a fantastic mom! I am anxiously waiting my turn. I'msure withthe mixture of me and Blake's genes, there will be many times to laugh at the kid....
Funny story!
Flying off the couch would be something inherited from me, I'm afraid. I love you, Mother
Your girls are so cute! I was giggling as I read their matter-of-fact explanations. It is so awesome to see their minds turning. This morning we were driving and Isaac randomly announced, "Look, Mama! A dinosaur!" Lawrence said he was 98% sure that he hadn't seen a dinosaur..... Isaac has quite the imagination! I love this pic of Elizabeth being a little mother. Val and Elizabeth are just so sweet! I hope to see you soon!!! Hugs!
