I am a Proud Mama

Children's names: Valerie Sue
Elizabeth Rose

How long did labor last?: about 2 1/2 hours - 3 hours with both girls from start to finish

Did you go all natural or did you have drugs/ c-section?: natural with Valerie, induced with Elizabeth...so naturally had medication.

Boys or girls? 2 girls

Weight? : Valerie was 7 lbs 11 oz , Elizabeth was 8 lbs 13 oz

Any hair? : None for Valerie, LOTS of curly LONG blonde hair with Elizabeth

How much weight did you gain? : 16 pounds with Valerie, 14 with Elizabeth

Did you lose it all? Yep, plus some!

Early or late baby? Valerie was fairly on time, Elizabeth was more than 2 weeks late

Who drove you to the hospital? My mom actually drove me when I had Valerie...Craig met us there, and Craig drove me for Elizabeth (I was induced)

Did you breast feed? Yes

Who kept the baby most? My Mother with Valerie because I worked & Me with Elizabeth

How did you pick the name? Craig picked out Valerie's name after her birth, we hadn't even thought of names at all. With Elizabeth we both picked it out at about 6 mths pregnant.

Who cut the cord? My Craig

Where was the baby born? Our hometown

Did you video the birth? Nope, gross. I had NO desire to relive any of it.

Who was in the room? Craig & Mother with Valerie, and just Craig with Elizabeth

Do you want more? We have another little one on the way...about 4 1/2 weeks left to go...and then we wait upon God and his desire for us to have any more.
